The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

I am a big fan of movies. What movies? All sorts of movies, English, Chinese, Action, Adventure, Humor, Horror, Romantic, Fantasy and of course many more. I am slightly different from others in the sense that I can watch the same movies over and over again. My record on watching Steven Chow’s movies is 38-1/2 times (the last one, I dozes off after 50 min :P ) and still counting. Wasting time? I don’t think so. No life? Hell no.

How many read synopsis, review or movies summary first before going to cinema? To me, nice posters will help me to decide what movie I want to watch. Weird huh? Simple concept is this, I prefer surprises rather than knowing the storyline before I even watch it. Besides, everyone has different taste and expectation. Movies reviewers might have different opinion than us.

Recently, I just watched The Sorcerer’s Apprentice by Walt Disney Pictures in Tanjung Golden Village (TGV) KLCC. The Director is Jon Turtletaub (Director of National Treasure). A cool adventure and nice action movie for 1 hr 54 min. A few actors and actress that might ring your bell, Nicolas Cage, Jay Baruchel, Monica Bellucci, Alfred Molina .

I will not give synopsis or movie summary or even screenshot here. I bet you can just simply google it but try not to read it for the first time and watch this movie. The feelings of not knowing what is it about and what is the storyline is priceless. Try it. Like I said, everyone has different opinion and I am not a movie reviewers by the way. Personally, I like this movie very much. A lot of actions, high tech visuals, cool acts especially the ‘Hungarian Mirror Trick’ and much more.

Only RM 12 per ticket or RM 6 per ticket on Wednesday can spice up your life for two hours. If the movie is not your type, compliment yourself with a nice and sweet icecream. It helps ! And rule of thumb is, never watch it alone. Sad isn’t it if you are alone in cinema. Nice, terrible, good, bad movies, who do you want to share with if you are alone? Well, call me if you cannot find anyone to watch it with you.

A lot of nice movies coming up e.g Cats and Dogs, The Expendables, Resident Evil: Afterlife, The Other Guys and many more. I am sure they will keep you occupied. Lastly, try not to read synopsis or reviews and watch them straight away…
