Vegetarian Family Home
Vegetarian is a term used to describe a non-meat eater. In other words, they are herbivore
. Human are born Omnivore so why do we want to restrict our daily consumption to only vegetables and grains?
The last time that I went to vegetarian shop was at Ba Xian Vegetarian Court (Air-cond). That was 3 months ago. I bumped into this Vegetarian Family Home while desperately hunting for food in Subang Jaya.
My instant respond was vegetarian AGAIN? But…but… my stomach was growling very loud so I resorted here rather than continue hunting.

This restaurant is no different than other vegetarian restaurant. Air conditioned, Buddhist songs on the background, simple dining table and chair and only has vegetarian menu..duh..

Like usual, there is also a common booth promoting some Buddhist album and variety of Vegetarian products. This is like a mini groceries store + restaurant + music arcade. Smart marketing strategy, right?
Rather than ordering the dishes from the wall menu, I headed straight to the ready cooked vegetarian dishes or else I will conk up with no supply to my tummy
.

This is what I ordered. Curry lady finger, sambal long beans and vegetarian Char Siew (barbeque pork alike) stick. IF you cannot withstand the spicy food, don’t try the first two.
The vegetarian Char Siew stick is very creatively prepared. The ‘meat’ is actually made of bean curd. I would not say that the texture is like real char siew but it is a close matched. The sweet barbeque sauce and sesame make the taste perfect.

This is the first vegetarian restaurant that I know with facebook link. Mark Zuckerberg is going to be very delighted to know about this.
This restaurant also provides catering service for buffet, full moon celebration, birthday party, house party and special occasion. Give them a call and find out more!
