DK Tycoon Restaurant
Heard about DK before? DK = Donkey Kong used to be my favourite game when I am young (I am still young tho). The recent DK that I came across is in Tokyo Driff. Not Donkey Kong this time but is Driff King instead. Either Donkey Kong or Driff King has nothing to do with this post.. hehe ..
Today, I am going to introduce you to DK Tycoon Restaurant. DK = DucKing. This restaurant has been my favourite Friday lunch place for the past few months. What so special about this place? As you can see from the picture below, the appear in newspaper before and more importantly, they have discounts and offer most of the time
Recently, they have 50% discount on begger chicken for Public Bank Credit Card holder. Unfortunately, I am not one of it. So, if you have Public Bank Credit Card, let me know and I can eat with you

When I walk into this restaurant, it gives me a very “Grand” feeling due to high ceiling and classy lighting. The place is spacious that can handle wedding banquet or even company functions. As you can see, this place is non halal because they serve char siew – BBQ pork and siew yok – sauteed pork (my favourite) beside chicken and DUCK of course . That add to extra reason why I come to this place often.

Before you start ordering, you will be served with appetizer. This time is beancurd and long bean. The choices of appetizer will change from time to time. I tried peanuts, cucumber pickles, fried fish (I think) etc. The sambal here is very good and I love it so much. Because of this sambal, my friend called my chillies lover.

Normally I go for 4 combination or 2 combination lunch set. You can chose the type of meat you like. Erm.. maybe you will ask, you can get similar food by the roadside, why here? Simple answer to that is, you should try it and you will know. The char siu texture are soft and tender. The duck did not have a strong duck smells and taste good. Rather than explain about chicken and siu yok, you try them first and you tell me.

The 2 combination is about RM 10.80 and 4 combination is about RM 12.80. Pricy? I guess in this case I will say a little expensive but hey, you are in a big restaurant and grand environment. If this place is so expensive, I will not chose this place as regular Friday lunch place too right? Have a try on it first, I am sure you will not regret it.
