Stable man is a man with big feet. That is of course if you explain things with engineering term where big base means stable. If you have >12 inch feet, you are indeed a very very very stable man and girls love it. Don’t be too upset if you have feett that is slightly smaller than that.
No one born with big feet and it grows through time. Or alternatively, you can plastic surgery your leg. Don’t even think about it as that is just a made up to criticize those who don’t treasure natural beauty. Oh yea.. I love natural beauty more than artificial because I am natural in most of the way.
I consider myself as a person who has natural beauty (please don’t vormit first). Therefore, I need something leathery to suit up. Not my whole body but only my big stable feet. Instead of getting only a pair of sneakers, I decided to get wou wou.. oh yea.. Hush Hush Puppies shoe to complement my feet for supporting me.
It comes with a standard Hush Puppies shoe box and the shoe is nicely wrap. When you open the box, you get to smell a pure leather smells that confirm the originality of leatherwear. Please don’t sniff it too long as it is kind of addictive to certain extend.
This Hush Puppies is almost the same as My New Shoes before but of course with new design. The technology is called Bounce Technology and it supposes to give you a bouncing feeling when you walk. I noticed that this shoe last quite long as compare with my other shoes.
Maybe because of the bounce technology which reduces the friction between the floor and the shoe? No scientific proof to this but who cares .. as long as the shoe give me a comfortable feelings especially when I walk around for long hours.
Don’t always think that leather shoe = working shoe. Leather shoe is worn as daily walking shoe in this part of the world. Try to guess where I am now? If you don’t know, leather shoe ergonomically supported your body (oh yea.. makes you slightly more stable) and keep your feet at right temperature.
I never wear leather shoe during winter but gonna get one leather boots for winter that is around the corner. If I am not mistaken, this shoe cost about SGD 300 after discount. I got this when I visited Singapore recently. Good deal? What do you think?

Everyone has a dream country. With a kiasu mindset, instead of having one, I have two, US and Japan. Why US? Maybe because of ‘White Man’s Burden’. I really curious what burden are they talking about.
What about Japan? Please don’t think aside as I am not taking about Hentai or Jap girls. High tech stuffs are what I am eyeing at and sushi of course. Eh, I think I just found my next destination.. hehe..
Have you ever feel like you are on top of the world? No? It is still not too late. I just have mine recently. I mean literally on top of the world.
Mount Baiyu is near the center of the Lvshun. If you ask me how to get there, I really have no clue. What I know is that this place is very close to a residential area. I bet local can point you to the right direction.
If I am not mistaken, just pay about CNY 10 (RM 5) to get a cable car ride all the way to the hill top. I have checked, all in tip top condition. So, you don’t need to buy insurance before boarding the cable car :p
On the peak stands a 66 meter tower, a memorial tower in remembrance of the soldiers who died in the war. It is actually erected by Japanese military leader after Japan defeated Russia.
Speaking of Japanese, this place is closely resembled Japan. I don’t smell sushi here but climbing the Mount Baiyu is actually bowing in the direction of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.
What more can I ask for when I only visit Japan in my dream. This place is a famous tourist attraction place where you get to visit not only this 66 meter tower but a smaller scale of Eifel Tower alike tower.
Like any other mountain top, you get to experience the fresh wind breeze and nice sceneries. Over here, you can see whole Lvshan and islands surrounding it, quite calm and relaxing to be honest.
I would suggest you to bring your binoculars if you like a zoom in effect. If not, you can purchase a binocular at a ‘tourist price’. More importantly, tourists can get a great range of souvenirs from the stalls around here too.

Voice activation is not a new technology. Most of the devices are equipped with this function to simplify daily routines.
Imagine when you are craving for an ice-cream. All you need is just used your voice command and said “ice-cream”. Within split second, ice-cream appears in front of you.
Wow! That is a bit exaggerating and I don’t think that type of technology does exist yet BUT using voice command to operate certain device is not uncommon anymore.
Scene 1: Voice activated elevator
While on my way to go down to the hotel lobby, the elevator stopped at level 8 and one guy rushed in. Prior closing the door, I overheard another man shouted, “Wait! Wait! Wait!”
The first guy quickly pressed the close door button. The door closed and the second guy did not managed to board the elevator. I am slightly puzzled and started this conversation.
Me: Excuse me, sir. Do you know that guy?
Guy: Of course I do, he is my brother.
Me: I thought he asked you to wait?
Guy: Yeah, you are right but I am in the midst of an experiment.
Me: I am curious, what type of experiment that you are carrying out by pressing the close door button when your brother is asking you to wait.
Guy: I thought the voice activation function will override the manual command but clearly, this experiment prove otherwise.
Me: How did you know that this a voice activated elevator?
Guy: I don’t. I just want to avoid boarding the same elevator with him.
Me: …
Clearly, the elevator is not a voice activated elevator but I am dumb enough to believe that he is actually carrying out the experiment.
Scene 2: Voice activated spy cam
Recently, my friend just bought a spy cam to spy on his lazy maid. It is small, handy and user-friendly. One of the cool functions is voice activated recording.
If the ambience noise is exceeding 60db, the camera will starts to record. He excitedly placed the camera in hidden spot to candid his maid when he is not around.
When he returned home from long working days, he quickly grabbed the spy cam and downloaded the recording file. There were 3 files in total. The recording clips show:
1st file: When he placed the camera on hidden spot.
2nd file: When he left to work.
3rd file: When he returned home.
The voice activated spy cam is proven not intelligent enough to spy on the lazy maid. It ended up in dustbin.
Scene 3: Voice activated login password
Few of the software developers successfully developed software that uses human voice to login to the computer instead typing long passwords.
It is proven secured and without hesitation, I bought the software and gave it a try last weekend. What you need to do is to pre-record your voice once and the software will be calibrated according to your vocal cord.
So, I recorded this, “Log me in” as my login voice. It worked for the first few times until I have terrible sore throats. My voice changed into ‘froggy voice’.
Desperately, I need to login to my computer but after the third attempts, the computer responded, “Stop or I will kick you out!”
The software had been uninstalled from my computer ever since.
From the three scenarios, try to give it a guess, which one is based on true story?

iPhone or Blackberry? iPhone or Blackberry? Arrgh.. Which one should I go for? If I go for iPhone, I will be viewed as an entertainment addict but if I go for Blackberry I will be viewed as workaholic or heavier texter.
I am not going to start the rival between iPhone and Blackberry here but the world is splitting into TWO now and I need to take a side?
What if I am both entertainment addicts and workaholic or heavier texter? Should I get two phones? NOOOO….
Each half split into its own world, the touch screen world and the keyboard world. From then on, both worlds never meet each other again and the gap is growing wider and wider each day.
Those who live in touch screen world claims that they are more happening because of bigger touch screen for entertainment, always have simple and intuitive interface, sleek and fashionable design because they do not have bulky keyboard, portrait/landscape touch keyboard and touch screen always makes hand and eye coordination better.

Hearing from these two worlds, it still did not answer my questions on which one should I go for? Both have their own advantages. OMG. This is going to drive me crazy! Why can’t I have all the advantages from both worlds into a one phone?

During the last autumn, I brought my mom for a long vacation in Holland. Her dream was fulfilled with exciting and memorable events when she travelled on business class all the way from KL to Amsterdam and Amsterdam to KL.
One particular highlight that crafted deeply in her memory until now was when I accompanied her to her business class seat.
An old gentleman started a conversation when I was teaching my mom on how to use the in-flight entertainment device.
Old man: You have a very caring son that patiently teaches you on all these devices.
Mom: This is the first time I travel on business class. My son just concerned if I know how to use all these high tech stuffs.
Old man: It is going to be awhile for you to learn it. Why not I suggest that I change my seat with your son? In that case, he can spend more time with you.
Me: It’s ok. It will not be long before my mom knows how to operate them. Beside, it will be a hassle to change our seating arrangements and my seat is at the back.
Old man: No worries about the hassle, we can exchange the seat. I insist.
Me: But … but … I am traveling on economy class? Are you sure?
Old man: …….Oh, your mom will be fine here. I can do the teaching later.
Write a post about a movie even without watching it FIRST? That is challenging but at the same time, I would say that will be a little bias. Why? All our information is based on synopsis and trailer perhaps .. but remember when I said, I don’t read synopsis, reviews or watch trailers before I watch the movie? A poster already enough to tell a thousand excitements 
Well, Resident Evil : After Life has no exception too. Paul W.S. Anderson the writer/director/producer has spent ample of time cracking his head to thrill and impress his audiences. Why we want to waste his efforts? Looking at his track records by producing my favorites Death Race (2008) and DOA: Dead or Alive (2006) are already sufficient to prove his credibility.
If that is still not enough, perhaps you should check out Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Resident Evil: Extinction. Ohh.. don’t tell me that you haven’t watch them yet? You still have a few more weeks to catch up before the launching of Resident Evil : After Life on Sep 10.
To give a little bit more about the background, Resident Evil is based on a famous video game series. Alice (Milla Jovovich), the main actress is the only one successfully bond with T-Virus that increases her physical and mental capabilities. The others that are infected will turn into Undead (Zombie).
The Umbrella Corp, the only remaining organization on planet is intended to clone Alice’s DNA and the stories begins … (Of course I will not tell you all, you have to figure it out yourself … hehe)
Besides the special effects and the Undead, I am particularly like the ”Laser Hallway” in previous Resident Evil . Cool isn’t it? Looks harmless but it is a deadly weapon.
By knowing the background of writer/director/producer, actress and other series (although it is a bit lengthy … ) are parts of my plan, if I am Alice or Claire, to strategize perfect strategies to fight the Umbrella Corporation. Here are the strategies.
Strategy 1
Wear raincoat and stop using Umbrella – with that, Umbrella Corporation will be financially challenge. Slowly, the corporation will go bankrupt.
Strategy 2
Don’t watch Resident Evil at all. In this case, the producer will be losing his revenue and no more Resident Evil movies after this. Indirectly, Umbrella Corporation will be shutting off …
Strategy 3 (my Favorite !)
If I am Alice or Claire, I will just follow what the “Director Said”. e.g. If the Director Said use cotton candy to bring down the Umbrella Corporation, it will works. If the Director Said, sit there is the best way to fight Umbrella Corporation, then it is the best way !

Honestly speaking, I have been watching a lot of Zombie movies. All the Zombie movies have one thing in common. THERE ARE NO ENDING. The zombie will still be walking on the street afterall. Probably, that is the ending .. hehe
By saying that, I also learn few tips along the way. For Guys, please be gentleman by asking if your girls friends really want to watch or else: 20% of the time will be screaming, 30% of the time will close their eyes and 50% of the time will be keep asking you, “WHAT JUST HAPPEN?”
More importantly, there will be a lot of action packed in latest 3D technology (James Cameroon’s AVATAR camera system technology) in this movie. Here is the trailers … Enjoy !

A few months ago, Sony Style @ KLCC was closed for renovation. Recently, Sony Style back on business with a new look. Not only that, there are many new gadgets too. It is my heaven beside Low Yat Plaza. I like technology and GadgetSS are the closest link to it.

After a long, busy week, going to GadgetSS stores relief all my tense, tiredness and will definately make me feel overwhelm with all the new inventions.
Lately, I noticed a lot of transition in TV technology. Starting with Plasma and LCD TV, HD and Full HD TV, LED TV, thinnest TV and now with the latest invention of 3D in Full HD (1080p) TV. COOL. I tried it myself and I am amaze with the picture qualities and the 3D effects.
This tv is not available in Malaysia yet. However, I manage to find some infomation on Full HD 3D TV. I tried 3D movies in cinema, but the feeling of having 3D TV at home is unbelievably great ! This will definately be in my wishlist.
Next cool gadget is compact SLR by Sony. I believe you can find more information about this camera in www.dpreview.com (famous photography review).
I tried this camera myself. It is impressive considering that I am used to Canon EOS 7D. The size is rather compact, fit nicely on ladies hand. Pictures quality are comparable with SLR. Quite handy to be honest.
The Sony’s website below shows the camera preview, accessories and interchangable lenses. It is true what the website said “The World’s Smallest Interchangeable-Lens Digital Camera with Professional Quality in Your Pocket”.

This is the first post on fashionSS in TikkoSS’s Blog. I am not a fan of branded stuffs but I am a true believer of good price for good quality of things. I can compromise on cheap clothes, pants, belts, socks but definately not footwares and underwears of course.
I trust that ”a pair of good shoes is a strong foundation of a good beginning”. Needless to say, it supports your whole body weight and reduce the possibility of having backache. On underwear, I am sure you know best on why it is important to have a good one
Recently, I just bought a pair of Hush Puppies shoes. The first and most expensive shoes I ever buy. The model is KH70241BK which cost me about RM 269.10 (RM 299 – 15% discount). If you ask me a few months ago, I would say it pokes a big hole in my wallet but now, I would say it is a perfect choice. I am satisfied because the shoes is light (perfect for 9-5 job), comfortable, stable and more importantly breathable. It is made of soft leather with internal padding and arch support that fit nicely to the shape of my feet.
Rather than keep typing, I am sure a picture tells a thousand words. Let me share some pictures I took with my Canon EOS 7D.
