How do you feel when someone walks to you and say, “You are blogger, right? I follow your blog!”. If you feel contented because someone actually treasures your masterpiece, I would say you are on the right track.
If you blog to gain fames, money, freebies or knowing hot chicks, I would say that is an insult to the word “blogging”. You are not going to go far, young man. Speaking of which, the word blogger does not carry much of a weight, isn’t it?
This is a marathon and not a sprint. You have to cultivate the passion in blogging rather than just do it. All those I mentioned are merely bonus if you get it 
BUT if you blog to get free FOOD, I would say, hell yea…stomach comes first! Never put free meals on second place. That is a crime and your FAT is not going to like you!
I bet many of you know about NuffnangMY Sharing Session. This is a session where many bloggers get together to share their experiences in blogging. Frames is the venue this time. What a minute, I just been to this place recently with other bloggers when we organized Nom with Blogger at FRAMES!
So yea.. this place is not new to me..
Ya ya ya.. I know there are many hot chicks and sexy hunks there. Ops.. for some reasons I cannot take away my eyes from all those cute girls there.. Slap ! Come on.. just give me a 5 sec break will ya?
These are the bunch of people that I hang out with for almost 3 hours of my life. Regret? Definitely NONO. They might be small potatoes like me but they are super funny and happening. A myth believes that if you consistently hang out with happy people, you will get younger.
That is exactly what I feel now. YOUNGER ! hehe..
After comfortably mingle around the crowd, Nuffies gave some opening remarks. Nice speeches by the way. I don’t know about many but I feel motivated and excited about the event even before it starts.
Every time Nuffies will have “special” arrangement to surprise us. So far, I never catch anyone playing with their phones or falling asleep YET. It never happens before and I am sure it will not happen in future too.
This time round, our ice breaking session is called “magic wand”. Bloggers have to hold the stick and start to tell others about themselves. No introvert that we encountered in this session and surprisingly, everyone is able to share freely.
If I have a magic wand, I want every famous bloggers to pimp me so that I will get famous too. Yea..that is exactly what I said. Lame isn’t it? Haha.. but what if it comes true.. I bet I will be the happiest man on earth. Contradict with what I said earlier.. ? neh.. that is just a wish afterall right..
Now comes my favorite part of the sharing session. FOOD! We were served with restaurant specialties ranging from spaghetti, chicken, beef, fish and seafood. What a perfect combination I would say. The portion might be small for big eater like me but it is the quality that matters NOT the quantity, right?
Pictures tell a thousand calories. I know all dishes look deliciously tempting but can you STOP DROOLING? Many will surely ask if the food is good? Will I recommend people to go? I will say YES to both!
YES YES! You know them right? I get a chance to know really really really famous bloggers such as TeyCindy, XiaXue, Ringo and Audrey in real person. Am I dreaming? Pinch me.. Ouch.. I am not dreaming! Too bad, all of them are girls coz I am GAY virtually 
For some reason, I can sense that guy in yellow shirt forget to eat his medication. He turned into extremely wild and CUTE TikkoSS in almost every picture with his signature TikkoSS’s Pose.
Beside the really really really famous bloggers, I also have a chance to snap many many many photos with fellow Nuffies. They might be hiding behind the screen all these while but if you know them in person, they are much more happening than you thought!
Oh yea.. all of them are not photo shy and man.. they can really pose too!
These are the evidence of TikkoSS in action with all hot chicks. Hey.. I am not pervert k? Technically I am gay virtually (need to reemphasize) Hehe..
I don’t think camwhore with my ugly, fat and short physical will help to boost my blog traffic. For sure people will puke big time! That is why I just need some girls touch here. 
Of all the photos I took on that night, I realized that I love these three in particular. I am not talking about the photography skills here but more of our facial expression! Genuinely attractive and innocent, right ? Like Like
Finally, before we left the venue and chit chatting with each other, we managed to get some group photos. Personally, this photo doesn’t look good. Why? Because TikkoSS is not there! The photo only priceless if TikkoSS is in it.
Nonetheless, I enjoyed this sharing session very much. Not to mention, I have learned a lot of blogging tips from super duper famous bloggers too .. I am a young dino now but soon going to be monster! Scare leh! Thank you NuffnangMY for the invitation.

4 is never an auspicious number for Chinese. I am sure many believe that 4 bring bad luck therefore they changed from 4 to 3A. If you are Chinese Muslim for example, instead of having 4 wives, it should call 3A wives.
D. J Caruso, the director for this movie definitely not that superstitious or else, why on earth, of all the number, he chose 4? Oh yea, I got the movie screening from Nuffnang AGAIN? I lost count how many movies I watched for the pass few weeks but I am happy max!
No doubt, I usually date my one and only lovely mom for movie screening. She is my blog loyal reader as well! Hehe. What can be more precious than sharing with my mom who are my friends, what I have been doing and keep her occupied rather than lonely at home.
I am not famous in blogshere and finally I know the reason why. My mom steals my limelight! Most bloggers decided to snap picture with my mom than me? So not be slightly kiasu, I snap photos with my mom first. Hoping that will boost up my traffic. lol
Normally, the ticket is distributed 1 hour earlier. So, in kiasu context, I will be the first few to collect nicer seat tickets, couple seats to be exact . Oh, I did not mention this to all yet but my mom is TikkoSS’s blog part time model ..hehe
Before collecting ticket, we normally hang out with other bloggers for dinner. That day we went to POPEYE again. After collecting the ticket we head straight to Lecka Lecka in e-curve.
Ice cream? It never goes wrong with Lecka Lecka. Aww.. so many choices to choose from but so pricey too I like the atmosphere there where we can sit comforbly enjoying every lick of the ice cream.
Normally, I will only hang out at this place when I am not happy, emo, pms.. that is why I “rarely” come this place coz I am happy boy all the time.. lol..but this time is different! Not because with my mom but it is because of something else.
ICE CREAM! We ordered 2 cups of ice cream and root beer too. Wait a minute, root beer is “halal” right? I am sure there is no alchohol content but can malay drinks root beer? Coz there is a word “beer” there.
What a stress reliever when I take the first scoop of that icecream. Emotionally excited with mixing feeling of happy, happy more and happy most. Lol. I must say those ice cream just made my day!
Gotcha! Of course the “something else” is not referring to the ice cream, the Blogger friends for sure! You can get delicious icecream anywhere (no doubt Lecka Lecka is nice too) but with all the bloggers friend, it only happens one in a light blue moon. Hehe
Movie time.. Bet the trailer give a good sneak peek about the movie.. I like this type of movie in particular especially when involve super power, science fiction, cool effect and not to mention shockingly amazing stunts.
Noting is perfect and I trust you have figured it out by now. With all those cool stuffs, the story line is just average. Emo slightly in the beginning but the last part is super duper awesome! Okies, enough of history lesson. You should watch youself and I think it is worth spending RM 12.

It is never easy to organize a blogger gathering. It will be more challenging if the crowd involves more than 10 people. What if I tell you Bloggers just had 3 bloggers gatherings recently in 3 different locations which involve close to 30 people?
Recently? That is like ages ago. I know many people will say that but well, I am too busy celebrating Chinese New Year. You don’t expect me to hide behind computer screen during CNY, right? Also, I tried to give opportunities for others to update first. Well, the best always come last. Hehe..
First location was in Old Town Coffee Shop. We have almost 10 people reached here few minutes before “real” event. The real event here is referring to Lou Sang at Sri Melaka, One Utama. One thing about bloggers, they can mingle very well with each other even though to some, this might be the first meet up.
Grabbing the opportunity to increase my traffic, I have decided to shoot mostly on female bloggers and all other famous male bloggers too. Hoping that their reader will be mine too (cunning laugh). With ample of time, we decided to go for first round of food here. Mainly toast and drinks only.
When close to the actual start time of the main event, we slowly move our butts to Sri Melaka (close to Dragon-i, One Utama). Why Sri Melaka? You might see only Chinese bloggers in photos but we have Malay Bloggers too! 1 Malaysia maa.
Before the main highlight of the night, many bloggers already cannot wait to pose for camera shooting. This is nothing odd. Many of us were holding professional camera. Whether we are professional photographer or not is secondary
We occupied 4 big round tables and almost half of the restaurant. Despite we are civilized bloggers, we do make some noise too. Luckily no one shut or embarrass us. LOL. Ohh, never a blogger gathering is organized without food. This time has no exceptions too. S
Since I love about food, I have included some food photos that we had that day (only from my table). We ordered hotplate tofu, pandan chicken, kerabu mango and sweet and sour chicken. I will not comment on food this time as the highlight is about bloggers this time and not the food.
I bet I did mention about Lou Sang earlier. What is Lou Sang? Lou Sang also known as Yee Sang, Prosperity Toss or Lou Hei. It is a mixed raw fish salad with shredded vegetables and variety of sauces. Toss it with auspicious wishes and you are ready to bon appétit. Normally, it costs about RM 60 per plate depending on the portion.
All four tables have lou sang that day and I get to enjoy the fullest by having the toss for 4 consecutive times. Wonderful isn’t it. One secret on lou sang. If your table is still clean after that, all your auspicious wishes will not come true. So, I did a pretty good job in “messing” the table.. Hehe..
After all the fat feeding time, camwhore and camDUCK moment is back again. All nicely dress for the outing and bet it will be a big waste if no one is taking the photograph. Try to cut down my crap coz nothing to talk about photo session except snap snap and snap.
At points, I think the guy in red looks awesomely handsome and cool. Wonder who is he? Not to miss a chance, I manage to ask “someone” to snap a group photo for my own sweet memories. Yes, there are a lot of cute, pretty and hot girls too! So, join us next time.
Many decided to go back due to some curfew issues or other plans. Few of us (13 in total) decided to meet up again at Kayu (some mamak restaurant which I have no clue where exactly that is?). Our outing never bored but some decided to blackberry and some even decided to take a quick nap. Hard to please everyone right?
Or some need to do reporting? I mean to mom laa or bf laa.. or whoever in the reporting list. Lol. Don’t feel offended when I say this ok. I am just teasing. All I can say, everyone is having a great fun that night and very much looking forward for the next outing! Join us next time!!

It will be rather awkward to blog during Chinese New Year when everyone is busy collecting angpow. It will be more awkward if I did not blog anything related to CNY. Speaking about angpow, every “young” person including ME loves it!
Honestly, I am not interested in the red packet but I am more indulge in paper notes in it . Bet all youngsters agree with me on this. Lol. Why? Well, with that money, they can buy the things that they like, spend on movies in cinema or having dinner with friends.
I consider myself lucky when I get to collect angpow and at the same time, get free tickets from NuffnangMY for Burlesque (don’t ask me how to pronounce it as I have NO idea.. hehe). Also I have to thank my small little brain (last time I checked it is not detected) for generating creative comments
Don’t laugh ok? I already tried to be as creative as possible. You can laugh whole day about it but please don’t disagree when I say I am creative, ok? What matter is I get the FREE ticket to add some flavor in my Chinese New Year.
As usual the queue to get free tickets is always packed. The early one gets better seat and sometime limited edition freebies too. I am lucky to be one of the few to get a COUPLE seat for that day and a mini manicure set. Manicure set for TikkoSS? Thought it is suppose to be for girls.
Simple answer to that, I have long fingernail and I need to cut it (girls with long fingernails, you don’t need it to be honest.. coz you rarely cut it)
We have ample of time before the movie starts. So, fellow bloggers decided to have a quick dinner at Food Junction in Midvalley. Nasi goreng kampong and fried char kuey teow weren’t great but Bloggers + Food + Movies are just awesome.
Most are nicely dressed for camwhoring and camDUCKing. I must say bloggers are interesting and happening people who have broad knowledge, writing skills and of course colorful life too. That is also the main reason why I love the crowd so much.
AS usual again, we are the first few who are lucky enough to watch the premiere few days earlier than then rest of the world. Not to mentioned, the whole cinema is specially booked for all of us, bloggers.
I bet you have been to Midvalley Cinema many many times. Same goes to me but the feelings are so much different when it comes to Movie Premiere. Whole cinema is filled with people that share the same interest like you, blogging. You just need to be there to feel it.
Now the Burlesque (pronounce as “Bar” + “Las”) time. I purposely try to talk less about the movie. Not because the movie isn’t good but I want you to experience the movie yourself, feel the musics with your ears and watch the dancing with your own eyes.
This movie is about a girl called Eli or Alice in full (coincidently I went with Alice..and she is very delighted that her name pop up) who is trying to put a footprint in Los Angeles. She starts to build her career by dancing and later singing in a place called Burlesque.
Nuff said. Many guys go there to watch pretty and sexy girls dancing but for you girls, don’t be upset coz you get to see cool Jack too! (although I think I am cooler). Catch Burlesque in cinema starting 17 February 2011 and you are going to enjoy it.

When I first heard about Om Nom Nom, I am like what the hell is that? After a few moments of silence, Vince texted us (TikkoSS, Xing and Simon) to online immediately and finally, we formed Team RANDOM. Enough of history lesson, you can always check on One Step Closer to the Maxis Om Nom Nom Race if you are interested.
Be in an amazing race alike race for a “young” man like me sounds challenging and FUN. Am I implying that I am too old for this race? Nah .. don’t be stereotype, k? I can tell you, I am not the “youngest” over there lol.
Before we start, we have to sign a “will” just in case anything happen to us. Hahaha.. not “will”, I’m just pulling your leg. It is a consent form.
What is so great about this race? Ohh..Beside NikiCheong was the MC, all I can think of is FOOD. They fed us really well even before we start our race. This is the time when I suppose to mingle around with other bloggers. So, I go with my camera as an excuse and started to say, “Can I have a picture of your team?” Lame but works.
After short briefing, teams were given iPhone, maxis broadband, laptop and first clue. This is getting exciting! AS much as we want to be the first in the race, Team Random decided to let other teams to start first. Give them a chance.. hehehe.. (Actually we faced some challenge in keying in our GPS .. lol)
Yea yea yea.. I bet you already know Team Random very well by now but I still want to put all our best pics. The pics when we are in “real” and serious actions! Hehe.. The race consists of 5+1 checkpoints, 5 restaurants, 4 drivers, 3 Dudes, 2 laptops and 1 female “daring” driver. (the +1 is the GPS mistakes that led us to KLANG instead of PJ)
Now I managed to mosaic all food photos that we had on that day from all the 5 restaurants. Don’t get jealous yea.. Now come the sad and happy time. SAD coz we didn’t win the race. No more Hong Kong and HTC Desire Z and no more second prize also but HAPPY because we get freebies from Maxis. Not only that, I really enjoyed myself very much. Thanks to Maxis and NuffnangMY for organizing this event.
My post is not finished yet. Lastly, get to camDUCK with fellow bloggers such as famous NikiCheong and all. I think both me and NikiCheong are equally leng chai. Just that, I am on the race for whole day and I did not manage to get a chance to make up, shave and wear perfume before the photoshoot.. ewww.. hehe..
What I gain in this race? Not to trust my GPS and need to brush up my sense of directions, know more fellow bloggers and really satisFATing food! Stay tune for more interesting post!

What do you usually do when you come to KL? Shopping? That is nothing unusual. Don’t tell me that you’re visiting tourist spots?? That is nothing great too. If I tell you I have a better suggestion, will you take into consideration? To add some flavor to it, what about meeting up with fellow leng chais and leng luis? Wink wink!
Glow happens to be in KL last Friday. DO what? She purposely arranged her very first meet up with fellow Nuffnang bloggers. Kinda last minutes invitation but we all are efficient bloggers. Eh hem. So, even last minutes did not stop us from gathering all up.
Guess who else were there? Oh yea.. all your favorite bloggers manage to make their presence. Who else if notTehTarikMemoirs, Xing, Chuen, TikkoSS, Suresh89 and Doris. Nothing come in between when comes to bloggers’ gathering, not even Friday work, hustle bustle city congestion and all sorta challenges.
If you cannot join this time, don’t give lame excuses such as no money la..bla bla bla.. You don’t need to be rich to join us. In fact, we met up in one of the fast food restaurant, Carl’s Junior. Well, if you on diet, a glass of drink will do too. What important is the crowd that counts, right?
Shy? Not a sociable person? We normally start of slow by self introduction. Then of course follow by common topic on blogging. It gets excited when everyone sharing their interesting experience, especially the personal one. Blogging is not just about writing blog only but to enhance your knowledge and build up your interpersonal skills. That is exactly the time for you to put everything in practice.
If you are birthday boy/girl, just say it and we will make something special for you. Suresh89 happens to be the center of the attraction that day. Glow decided to sponsor some small cupcakes to cherish his Happy “Getting Older” celebration. I can tell you, he nearly burst into tears. TOUCH lor.. what else?
We moved to Snowflakes soon after Carl’s Junior. Don’t expect us to only stay at one location right? It is “Dessert Time”.. Oh yes ! Never say no to dessert especially where there are girls factor involved. Just RM 6 ++ for a big bowl of dessert and it is kinda cheap to be honest. I am very sure that I need not introduce this place as many already familiar with it.
Always remember to bring your camera along. Bloggers’ gathering always involves a lot of photo shooting. The moment when all male bloggers like it. Is it because we are pervert? OF course not. All of us are gentleman, ok? Just that we need some girl touch in our blog to drive the traffics.
With those photos, male readers will automatically flow into your blog for sure . What if you want to attract girls reader? camDUCK? Unfortunately, it does not works that way. CamDUCK just not right? Well, at least I don’t get use to it, YET!
Cam moment also to capture all our smiley faces which will definitely embrace our memory when we look back at these photos again. The warmth and happy feelings still flowing in my vein when I blog about this.
It is hard to share fun time in writing as words are just too limited to express it. You just have to feel it when you are there. If you do not want to lose all the fun, stay tune and join us next time. Never too late!

You know, this race is actually pretty awesome. We were at Saudi Arabia a few hours ago. We flew back home to Malaysia. And now we are in Thailand. Heh.
Team RANDOM is now at Thaibase, Bandar Sri Damansara, enjoying a mouth-watering Thai meal. Ahh yes, everybody loves Thai food. You don’t love Thai food? Gee, you have no idea what you missed out my friend.
Thaibase is situated in a rather inner part of Bandar Sri Damansara. One may mistake this restaurant as a Chinese restaurant due to its rather oriental design. There is however, quite an abundant number of seats so doesn’t have to worry about overcrowding here.

Fried Koay Tiaw. This is not just any tom dick harry Chinese ah beng char koay tiaw – it has a couple juicy prawns and it is not to oily nor too dry. Suitable for foodies who is VERY health-conscious.
Claypot Tofu.
A healthy combination of tofu, mushroom, prawns and come greens. The perfect meal for those who are on a strict diet.
And yes, fried rice.
Fried to perfection in terms of spiciness. Suitable for us hardcore Malaysians who can’t live without spicy food. So if you can’t stomach a plate of spicy fried rice, well, too bad.
That’s it! Off we go to the next stop.

Phew, finally our magic carpet brought us back to Malaysia. Back to Damansara Utama. Yes, we are having the famous Malaysian delicacy – Satay!
Or what the angmohs would call skewered meat. You know how much they fancy using fancy words.
So, Team RANDOM is now feasting at Sate Kajang Hj. Samuri. Contrary to popular beliefs, we are NOT at Kajang. We are at the Damansara Utama’s branch – one of Hj. Samuri’s 22 branches.
Housing a very simple restaurant layout and design, Sate Kajang Hj. Samuri appears to be like any other humble local Malay restaurant in Malaysia. Like my grandniece would usually tell me, never judge a book by its cover. And boy was she right.

Sate Kambing, Rusa, Daging and Ayam.
In simple everyday English, we had lamb skewered meat, deer skewered meat, beef skewered meat and chicken skewered meat. The specialty of these skewered meats comes in the form of their tenderness. Unlike ordinary satays, the ones here in Sate Kajang Hj. Samuri is not overly burnt, not too chewy and not too hard.
There were ketupat as well – a type of cubed rice which are basically made from, oh well, rice.
Enough with skewered meat and rice! Off we go to the next destination!

This race is definitely more exciting than the Amazing Race. We swear. The rushing adrenaline is enough to build another Twin Tower. Whatever that means.
Here we are, at our second location – Saudi Arabia. No kidding. We are at Tarbush Sunway Pyramid, which prides to be a replica of Saudi Arabia. There are camels everywhere, exotic sexy middle eastern waitress everywhere, flying carpets everywhere and of course, Aladdin.
Just kidding.
In all seriousness, Tarbush has a very authentic Arabian interior design. You remember watching Aladdin as a kid? Remember how the palace looked like? Yeap, Tarbush looks somewhat like that, just that it is air-conditioned here.

What they would called the Baba Ghanoush. No, it has nothing to do whatsoever to do with Baba and Nyonya. It’s a sourish paste made from eggplant and tomatoes that is filled in slices of pita bread. Very very appetizing.
There’s also biryani chicken.
Tender chicken encompassed with spiced rice. Or what we typical Malaysians would call Nasi Briyani. Our team decided to wrap the rice and chicken with some pita and I tell you, it is the BEST combination.
Lastly, the dessert. Mahalabia. It sounds very majestic and grand, I know.
A type of milk pudding with a generous topping of nuts on the top. When you feed yourself with just one bite of this, it’s like heaven in your mouth.
Well, that’s it from Tarbush. We shall be flying off with our flying carpets to the next destination!

As everyone know, Confucius once said “If you ain’t gonna nom nom that burget; Imma do it for you.” Yes, trust me, he said that. And he had also once said this during his visit to a humble café in PJ – “You should totally check out Strawberry Fields Cafe when you are in PJ.”
We, TEAM RANDOM are staunch Confucius followers. Yes, here we are at Strawberry Field Cafe in the Maxis Om Nom Nom race, having the most sumptuous meal of the hour. The venue is not that hard to locate, it is exactly next to the MBPJ building. The only problem that one might encounter during their visit here would be parking. Loads of shoplots but very the little parking lot. Typical Malaysian problem lah. But hey, we’re Malaysians, we can make a parking lot out of anything. Strawberry Field Café gives a very comfortable and homey feeling. We could almost fall asleep in our chairs. But you see, we couldn’t because we are like in a race and er, never mind.

Sweet & Sour Chicken Rice. The chicken was deep fried to the right tenderness and the sauce was literally a combination of sweetness and sourness. Followed by Thai Fried Eggs with Minced Chicken.
Although this dish might appear to be a little spicy, but it is not up to the extent where we need to gulp in 1 gallon of water after every bite. Mystically enough, the egg makes a pretty good combination with the sauce and minced meat. Dessert. Sago Gula Melaka.
