I have a dream, a dream of becoming a prince. Why not King? Well, King needs to rule and theoretically no time for himself but on the other hand, prince has all the wealth and power to enjoy!

Stereotype? Hmm.. a little.. Dream is always a dream, it is realistically not achievable. That is why it is called dream. Since I know on solid ground I will not be prince, I need to find an alternative, something similar but not exactly similar.

I wanted to enjoy like prince, eat like prince and stay like prince. That is why, I decided to reside in Prince Hotel for few days. Although there is no red carpet to welcome me, but deep down, I know I am at right place.

The lobby is somewhat grand to me. Nice chandelier which reminds me of palace for a short while. Not so grand from the photos? That is exactly my intention. If you want to feel it, you have to get there yourself!

Stunt by the curvy stairs, I spent few minutes to ‘feel’ the ambience. Nice architecture but not practically fit for purpose. I carried out this test. I used escalator to second floor and climb again with the curvy stairs. My advice is to take the escalator as you will save half of the time :P .. duh..

Then I saw this big jade ship just right beside the elevator. For Feng Shui? For Decoration? Or another way to spend the money? I think it is a bit of all. I don’t really bother the jade ship but I am really bothered by “NO Durian” Sign. How sad.. :(

Durian lovers, please don’t attempt to sneak in your favorite food here .. hahaha

The moment I walked into my room, I got a clear assurance that I am going to have a good stay. First, I will jump up and down on the springy bed to quality test the bed. Then, will walk straight to the mini bar to check out what is free.

Last but not least, I will rush to toilet to snap few photos as an evident that the cleaners do clean the toilet. Hahaha.. All in tip top condition. No doubt, it is worth for the money.

Swimming pool and gym in hotel are always common except when you are inChina. I would say these are must have facilities not for people to swim and workout only but to wash their eyes too. And the golden rule is, it must be very well maintained.

Obviously you are not expecting green algae or muddy water right? Over here, you can also stay relaxed with the Thai Spa that serves your from top till bottom. Ha! I don’t mean that ‘bottom’ tho.

Be a prince or not, I would suggest you to tryout this hotel that located in the middle of KL City Centre.

Why do you pay to reside in hotel? Wanting to feel like home when you are abroad? Of course not. Many believe that good hotel should make you feel like home. WRONG. Absolutely wrong.

As a conscious person, you know that you don’t need to pay so much if you want to feel like home. Just go home! I am not a sentimental who will miss home, but definitely a person who knows how to make worth the money that pour out.

Having Twin Tower in Malaysia is not new anymore but I am not sure if you know there is a twin hotel in Malaysia too?  Not KLCC but Hilton and Le Meridien. This twin hotels stand proudly in the middle of KL Sentral.

If you don’t have sense of direction, this hotel is just beside KL Sentral. As long as you know which entrance to enter, you are in good hand. Remember left is Hilton and right is Le Meridien. I only try the Le Meridien .. so don’t ask me anything about Hilton.

This is no way close to safe house. No bullet proof glass, no fireproof door, no security door, no vault bla bla. Like any other similar range hotel, the room is equipped with electronically secured door, digital safe box, LCD screens and internet of course.

You might remember ‘Heavenly Bed’ in Westin Hotel. I know because I have tried it. Talking about bed, I bet you can sense the comfy bed from the photos above. Not only that, I love when this hotel has a ‘relaxing corner’, comfy chair with amazing views.

Nice view eh? Oh yea.. you get to see a portion of KL view. Too bad it is only a small portion. Bear with the lousy photos as I don’t have CPL filter with me that time. Is the thought that counts right?

The night view is superb considering you get to see the streetlight and traffic jams too! You get to see a lake from far as well but this view is compromised by the nearby construction site.

Now comes the interesting part. Beside nice KL view, you get to see a ‘very’ nice view at the pool. No doubt, it will be nicer view if you are in the pool. If you think the view is still not good enough, try to hop in to the GYM.

Of all the hotels that I have visited before, I would consider this hotel facilities are impressive, nicely design and decorated design etc.  Also, all these facilities are shared between the guest in Hilton and Le Meridien. So, all the facilities are very well maintained by the two hotels.

Try it out when you are there!

Hotel is a place I always wanted to go. First, the room is well prepared and you don’t need to clean your room after you mess up. More importantly, a nice and relaxing place after a hustle bustle of city life.

Few weeks ago, I went to this hotel in Port Dickson. Port Dickson always famous with nice beaches but I never thought I can find a nice hotel here. I stayed in Thistle Hotel for couple of nights. Splendid experience I would say and now, I want to share with you.

The hotel has a very nice pool (I like most) with beautiful and calm landscaping. The pool is quite big too, with the depth approx 2 + metres. With cool drink at the poolside bar, this is a perfect place if you want to hang out ‘wet’.

The rooms are quite spacious and the interior design is classy. The room comes with LCD TV, reading table (like usual) and a king size bed but surprisingly there is no safe box in this room to keep your valuable.

The toilet is nicely decorated. The toiletries are well arranged and I managed to snap some nice artistic shots :)

The hotel has facilities such as gym, tennis court, pool table, video game arcade, lovely restaurant, nice beach bar, cafe and kids playing ground too. So, don’t worry if you bring your kids around. They will definately like it. For golfer, Thistle has 9 holes golf course.

Last but not the least, if all the facilities do not impressed you, Thistle Hotel has a very nice and clean beach. This is just perfect for evening jogs, sand castles, sun bathing and water sports. On top of that, Thistle Hotel provides beach volley balls and beach soccer too.

Currently, Thistle Hotel is having a Ramadhan Hot Deal at only RM 270 nett. Please visit the website for more information.
