Do you have an idol? Tom KURUS? Justin BARBER? Angelina Jelly? Whoever that is, I have question for you.. why do you need to idolize someone when you yourself is the best? You don’t think so?  At least Mr. TikkoSS idolize himself every much.

All because there is only one TikkoSS in this world! Lol. Maybe you should idolize him too since he is unique.. Scoff scoff. It is easier to proof it by just following his blog. Well, action speaks louder than words, right?

If you are big fan of TVB series, you might come across Kim Gary. Who is he? He is a spiderman? Nah, I don’t know who is he but do I look like I care? What I care is what he is capable of. FOOD for sure..

Kim Gary Restaurant is a famous fast food chain in Malaysia. Beside affordable food, it is also famous because it is opened by famous movie star.  Hehe..

I rarely visit this restaurant but occasionally I will drop by here to get toast and my favorite Pork Chop Rice with Cheese.  Some did ask me before, why I spend more to eat toast here when toast can be easily made. The answer is because “I am Lazy”!

Not only that, if I am here, I can have cheesy pork chop rice too. It will never go wrong when you have the right combination with chicken soup.  Simple lunch set that served with a glass of yin yong and dessert.

Sometime I get really hungry that the served portion might appear to be slightly small for my big fat and sexy belly. If I am still hungry after the whole set + toast, I will order my second favorite dish, Pork with Fried Egg with Chinese Mushroom.

Did I tell you I love mushroom? If not, now I tell you. I love mushroom. Hehe.. That is why I order this one.  I will never compromise when come to food. So all the dishes I ordered here do pass TikkoSS’s Quality Taste.. hehe

I mentioned earlier that dessert and yin yong are included in the set meal. What I didn’t mention is another favorite drink I love here, Mango Coconut Milky Lure. Some tastes are hard to define and it will only be perfect when you experience it yourself.

RM 50 is not consider as cheap and it is not consider as expensive either but that is what I spent on all the food that I usually order in Kim Gary. Have a try and if you are small eater, I bet it will be a lot less than RM 50

How much are you willing to spend for hawker food? RM 1? RM 10? Or RM 100? Normally when come to food, money is secondary to me. I used to spend RM 100 or more in ONE day, just for varieties of roadside food along Kaoshan Road, Thailand.

I know many decided to get Thai girlfriends to save some money in Thai food, some decided to hire Thai maid to cook for them but as for me, I decided to hunt for nice Thai Restaurant. As much as I love Thai food, please don’t expect me to eat same thing over and over again right?

Rak Thai is not just a Thai Restaurant that serves delicious Thai delicacies but sell a lot of Thai daily products such as my favorite tom yam instant noodle, Thai chili sauce and chili paste. What impressed me is most is the waiters/waitresses here who speaks good Thai.

Duh, speak Thai? Like that also want to impress. I tell you, most of the waiters/waitresses in Malaysia Thai restaurants do not speak Thai at all beside Sawadeekap. If you don’t believe it, try to speak a few words and see their priceless facial expression.

If you follow my blog before, I spent about RM 124 in Chakri Palace in Malaysia ?? Guess how much I am planning to spend here? The set for 2-3 RM 53.90+ attracts me.  Correction.. The set for 4 RM 89.90+ really attracts me but unfortunately I don’t have 4 stomachs like cow.

I only have one stomach and one “hump at the front” (don’t ask me what is “hump at the front”! So, reluctantly have to ordered the set for 2-3 :(

Start with my favorite, Tom Yam Gai as appetizer. This is good to stimulate your taste buds before they go to “spicy shock”. Follow by so called “Green Curry Chicken” (I might be color blind but it looks yellow to me :P ) and Stir-Fried Kangkung.

If you can take the “not so spicy” Tom Yam, I bet you will survive with all the other dishes. I got to know that a friend of mine will turn into tomato red if he takes spicy food. Cute isn’t it? To me, I don’t turn red but I will sweat like PIG but hey, all these food are marvelously great. So, I don’t mind turning into PIG.

The Crispy Fried Fish Lemongrass Dressing is very unique. This is totally different as compare to most of Fried Fish with Thai sauce (which means, fried the fish with readymade Thai sauce from bottle). I believe this is the authentic way of preparing the Thai Style Fried Fish.

More importantly, it taste really good and sometimes I will crave for this dish.

Not to worry about drinks, you will be served with Iced Lemongrass Drink. If you love the fragrant and taste of lemon grass, I bet you will like this drink very much.

Again, I have made a right decision not to order set for 4 as I hardly finish all the dishes here. The portion is really big and I guess my bottomless stomach is not bottomless afterall.

Some part of me is Malay. Do you believe it? Nope nope, I don’t wear songkok or I don’t have 4 wives. Since all of us are descendents of Adam and Eve, I am sure we are connected somehow. I don’t know why but for some reason, I turn out to be Chinese now.

Despite my body system is flowing with Chinese blood, my taste buds are kind of special. It can be customized and sometime, Malay food excites me. Wait wait.. I just realized I am a product of China but “Made in Malaysia” …dang!

I know I know I have been posting a lot about nice non-halal food, pork, alcohol bla bla bla. So I decided to hunt for HALAL food this time, not only halal food but nice Malay food.

Aseana is a Kafe and Bar located inside KLCC. It is normally quite quiet on the normal time and get really crowded during the peak hours. If you don’t want to feel awkward, go with your Malay girlfriend. Ops.. I mean your Malay friends.

There is nothing much to talk about the ambience and the photo above did not carry any weigh too. It is just a way for me to show off my photography skills. *faint!

If you are not a spicy food eater, you should start with something light, something less spicy first. By any means, if you have faith in your stomach, go ahead with the main course.

For the sake of adding varieties to my food photos, I ordered Keropok Lekor, deep fried spring roll, and pisang  goreng ala Bali as my starter. Have a think about it, you can get all these by the roadside and guess how much all these cost?

I am a super big fan of platter. In Peranakan Place @ One Utama, I love Peranakan Platter. Over here, I love this mix platter. At this stage, please don’t ask me silly question such as why platter? Duh.. you pay for single price and you get fish, rendang, chicken, ulam, keropok and kari. I am “small” eater remember?

If you are not smart enough, normally evil and angel you will be fighting in your mind.. fish or meat? Meat or chicken? Don’t let that happen, just order all in one plate! Your wallet might be bleeding but deep down, I can tell you that your belly loves it.

Some might be“not so” smart and decided to order curry fish rice, chicken rice, chicken rendang rice or kuey teow soup. Honestly, I am alright with that as long as you like it. It is personal preference and wallet ability right?

Overall, I have tried every single dish above and I love them so much. Did I finish all those food? Please try not to be funny here. How can I possibly finish all those food in one go. Of course I went there multiple times ler.

If you noticed, sometime I am “not so” smart and sometime I am smarter. Well, that is how the cookies crumble. You are going to drive me really mad if you ask me if this place is good or expensive.. sigh.. i) if not nice, do you think I will blog about it? ii) if not nice, will I repeatedly go to the same place iii) quite reasonable price else you really think I really “cop” money meh?

Few days ago, someone used my website to spam and ended up McAfee labeled my website as suspicious with SPAM URL. Seriously, whoever is that, please grow up! Learn to appreciate someone’s piece of work rather than abusing it.

I cannot figure out why McAfee can even believe that my website is a SPAM. The only reason that I can think of is maybe I do “SPAM” a lot about good food. Ops, I am doing it again now!

Human evolution theory by Charles Darwin believe that “men from monkeys” but it says nothing about women. So, human evolution theory by TikkoSS envisage that “women from swans”. Why? i) angel alike ii) graceful iii) slow and steady iv) classy v) tiny brains :P

That is for men and women. What about food evolution? I have no clue at all but Peng Heong shows an evolution from hawker stall to big restaurant. Yes, from very small zinc roof hawker stall by the roadside to big concrete cozy restaurant.

My father used to drive me all the way to Klang for lunch here when I was a teenager. Back then, this shop is just another hawker stall but now, they even earn a title of No.1 Paikut. Not only that, they serves a variety of delicious Hakka dishes.

Before you start calculating on my age, I am not that OLD! Teenager life for TikkoSS was just few years back. I am still very young by the way.

Since I mentioned Paikut earlier, this is a must try dish. I also ordered black vinegar pork leg and pepper pork belly soup. OK, too bad for muslim friends that this is a non-halal restaurant but good news for Pork’s Lovers.

This paikut is boneless and soft. Just nice for lazy people like me that hates bones. The gravy is extraordinary nice. The black vinegar pork leg is one of the few that qualify to enter my mouth. I don’t like if it is too sourish. The pepper pork belly soup is so so only considering that I like my mom home made soup.

Beside all the pork dishes, they also serve common green vegetables, eggs and pretty good assam fish too.  It is very difficult to find a restaurant which their cooking style matches your taste bud. I love this place as almost every single dish is exactly how I like it.

If I am in desperate mode but broke, I think plain rice with egg already sufficient for me. Hmm.. the strawberry and honey are so nice… Ops, slightly off topic as I am enjoying my favorite strawberries now while blogging about this. hehe

Did I finish all the dishes? Of course! Am I alone? Of course not! I am with my family at that time. You really think I am that “big” eater meh? All these dishes only cost about less than RM 150.

If you get lost in Klang next time (like I used to experience before when I trusted my dumb dumb aka GPS), you can drop by at this place and try it before you find your path back :P

1. While golfing with a bunch of amateurs, I overheard a girl shouted to a man, “Can you stop hitting me with your balls?”

2. “How is your marriage so far?” asked the marriage counselor. The husband replied, “It is pretty good so far as we only met 3 times in 4 years.” The wife replied, “Which one are you talking about?”

3. Chinese always take blames on themselves. One day, a boss instructed his secretary not to order lunch for him as he will not be in office. All of the sudden, the boss decided to come into office during lunch time. Few minutes later, the secretary sent an email and said, “I am sorry but I did not order your lunch. It is purely my mistake.” The boss responded, “It is ok, I instructed you not to order my lunch.” The secretary timidly replied, “It will not happen again. It is my mistake that now you are hungry. I promised it will not happen again.” The boss patiently responded, “It is ok, I am not hungry.” The secretary guiltily said, “Do you need anything for your lunch? I am so sorry. It is my fault!” The boss agitatedly replied, “No I don’t need anything for lunch now. Yes it is purely your fault and you should stop sending me emails.”

4. KFC cannot make a good business in china because generally people here love to eat chicken claws, neck, butt and spare parts.

5. To achieve project milestone safely, the deliverables should be free from any form of accident. If someone fall from chair, it is not consider as accident as he is fired 2 second before he touches the ground.
